• Sam Bothwell & The History of The Bothwell Cup 

  The 2012 Bothwell Cup will be the 21st anniversary of the tournament which began in 1991. The tournament is named for Sam Bothwell, a long-time supporter of soccer in the Ohio North jurisdiction who developed many travel teams in the area.
  
  This year, the tournament is open to boys and girls in U9 through U14/15 divisions. (U9 divisions will play a festival format.) The tournament will also serve as a qualifier* for OYSAN teams in the U14 Boys and Girls and also the U13 Boys and Girls age groups to be invited to serve as OYSAN representatives at the Region II President's Cup Tournament.
  
  (*Please Note: Certain President's Cup and US Youth Soccer criteria must be met to qualify for participation in the President's Cup Tournament. Not all Bothwell Cup U14 participants will qualify.)
