OYSAN Centers of Excellence Fee Structure

The OYSAN Centers of Excellence (COE) program is primarily designed to train groups of up to forty U-9/10 or U-11/12 players in a game-based environment. However, teams of any age can be accommodated in more traditional training formats.

COE's are typically comprised of five or six two-hour training sessions scheduled over the course of a season or week (summer). The major technical emphases include: dribbling and ball control; kicking skills; individual initiative; supporting around the ball; individual and group defending; transition; game awareness; and soccer fitness. Approximately 75% of each session utilizes competitive games.

The COE program also provides an excellent, practical approach to coach-education with course materials, training sessions, and on-going mentoring provided by OYSAN Head Coach Tom Turner.  “Assistant coaches” are expected to oversee small groups and participate in training activities. No additional classroom sessions are required to attain the U-10/12 certificate, but coaches must attend all sessions.

Only a limited number of COE’s are scheduled each season. For more information, contact Tom Turner by phone at (216) 496-4683 or by e-mail at coaching@oysan.org.
