Dear League President and/or League Registrar:

As you are aware, OYSAN is replacing its current Hammerhead ‘E-Reg’ program and is substituting it with Active Network’s LeagueOne Product. As of July 1, 2008, OYSAN will no longer being using neither Hammerhead’s ‘E-Reg’ product nor will it be available for your use.

There is no cost to OYSAN leagues (or to clubs affiliated with OYSAN leagues) for the use of LeagueOne. LeagueOne will better serve OYSAN and its members as it is an integrated online registration and data management system that will centralize and simplify registration between OYSAN affiliated clubs and leagues. Starting in July, our affiliated leagues and clubs will be provided the ability to actually use the League One System -OR- affiliated leagues and clubs may import their registration into the League One System using a template provided by OYSAN.

Some of you have inquired of us at the OYSAN State Office about Active Network’s ‘Club-Reg’ product. OYSAN did not purchase the ‘Club Reg’ product. ‘ClubReg’ is merely an upgraded version of LeagueOne that offers an integrated online registration tool where parents/players may register for a team with a club (or league) online from home. The integrated online registration tool helps reduce data entry while automatically feeding player information into the LeagueOne system, thus saving time and energy for Registrars’. ‘ClubReg’ also provides additional tools such as a high-end email tool for sending information to players and volunteers and other functionality.

With respect to Active’s ‘ClubReg’ product, I want to be clear in stating that usage of Active Network’s ‘ClubReg’ product is not mandated nor is it required by OYSAN. Keep in mind that Active Network charges a per transaction fee for the usage of their ‘ClubReg’ product. Therefore, OYSAN leagues or clubs having the desire to use Active Network’s ‘Club Reg’ product will need to enter into agreements with Active, completely separate from OYSAN, for that product.

Once again, the LeagueOne product OYSAN purchased is FREE to OYSAN affiliated leagues and clubs within OYSAN leagues. Should you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at the OYSAN State Office.
